ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. - A woman hiccups Tampa Bay, which attracted world attention has been charged in the murder of a 22-year-old during a robbery.
Jennifer Mee, 19, of St. Petersburg and two others are charged with first degree murder for the death of Shannon Griffin on Saturday.
Sgt. TA Skinner Police Department St. Petersburg, said Griffin Mee drew a house where the other was stolen at gunpoint. Police said Griffin was shot several times.
Skinner said Mee and others have admitted their involvement.
Mee was held without bail Monday. Proceedings of the Pinellas County jail could not demonstrate that she has a lawyer. telephone numbers listed Mee mother has been disconnected.
Mee hiccups - up to 50 times per minute for months - has gained notoriety in 2007.
