Brett Favre Scandal

The NFL has been dealt another series of problems over the weekend. The fact that Ben Roethlisberger returned to the field this weekend was the closing of one chapter and Terrell Owens tweeting within 90 minutes of game time continues that saga from weeks ago. Moreover, who isn’t interested in hearing about Randy Moss?  Unfortunately, late last week, the Brett Favre scandal was enough to squash what could be a great night in the NFL tonight.

According to league officials, the NFL will “make a determination” regarding whether the former Jets quarterback should be punished for not following the leagues “personal code policy”. That starts to walk some fine lines between what is even football related and what is not. Sure, Jennifer Sterger was a sideline reporter for the Jets when Favre played for the Jets and this relationship supposedly occurred but between the time it occurred and now, seems to be a bit steep. No doubt the NFL alongside Jennifer Sterger and Deanna Favre are all part of the Brett Favre scandal whether they chose that route or not.

Deanna and Brett have been married for 14 years and for many, this is a matter for the two to cope with and not the entire world. It doesn’t help that the 26-year-old describes herself as an actress, model, writer and television host and currently works for Versus which is a sports-oriented cable channel. Jennifer is not commenting or doing interviews but remains adamant that she did not provide anyone with the information that Deadspin has released. Deadspin was the first to report that Sterger herself told them about the photos last February and that now they have other photos from a third party which just makes this Brett Favre scandal big news again.
