Tommie Smith Selling Gold Medal And Shoes, But Not The Black Glove That Made Him Famous

Tommie Smith, author of one of the most famous in the history of sport, has been operating her red Puma and gold medal for auction with a starting price set at $ 250,000.

While accepting his gold medal for the 200-meter race at the Mexico Olympics in 1968, Smith and John Carlos, the bronze medal hung their heads and push hands covered with black gloves in the air like a symbol of Black Power.

The glove is not included in the agreement because Smith has apparently no idea where he is.
